Dr. Tuula Pohjola is Professor of Environmental and Quality Management. Before joining the university in 2001, she was a consultant at the Finnish Employers Management Development Institute. Her main research interests include environmental business accounting, logistics and systems to develop companies environmental reports. She is a member of the Environmental Management Accounting Network Europe (EMAN-EU) Steering Committee.

Anna Kumpulainen (M.Sc.) is a project manager and a researcher at EMU. Currently she is studying environmental management accounting, as well as risk management strategies and practises in response to the EU Emissions Trading Scheme. She is also continuing with PhD studies on environmental management accounting.

Eeva Lappalainen (M.Sc.) is working as a researcher at the Environmental and Quality Management team. During her studies Eeva concentrated on topics of international business and corporate strategies, energy economics and markets, as well as environmental management and corporate responsibility. Currently Eeva is working on issues related to risk management strategies and practises in response to the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.

He joined Environmental and Quality Management Unit in 2005. Previously, he has worked as a technology consultant. He has also studied and worked with international business strategy.
